Hi, my name is Kris Yoder and I am Owner/Operator of Chick-fil-A Joliet. My wife Abbey and I have been married for 10.5 years and we have two daughters, Jane and Sophie.  Originally, I am from Central Illinois where I grew up on a farm. In 2011, I graduated from Huntington University with a degree in Youth Ministry. After serving as a Youth Pastor and Camp Director in Central Illinois for four years I decided to pursue Chick-fil-A to be an Operator. So in 2014 I transitioned from ministry to begin my career with Chick-fil-A.  I was drawn to Chick-fil-A because their values line up with mine, and the guest experience are some of the best in the industry. My "why" in life is to be a reflection of Jesus and help others reach their dreams. When not at work, I love spending time with my family,  playing with my dog, Rory, watching the St. Louis Cardinals, or playing ultimate frisbee. 

My hope for you is that you will use your talents to serve this community, demonstrating that Chick-fil-A Joliet is the most caring restaurant, while also growing both personally and professionally.

Kara plays a crucial behind-the-scenes role and supports Kris by handling a variety of ad hoc tasks, allowing him to focus more on key priorities and supporting the team.
